"What UNO Do You Attend?" Dialogue

Student Organizations and Leadership Programs and the Greek Week Committee will host a Difficult Dialogue: event—“What UNO Do You Attend?” on Tuesday, April 1, from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Milo Bail Student Center Nebraska Room.

Students will have the opportunity to dialogue with one another on the topics of inclusivity of clubs and Greek Letter organizations as well as how they feel about being a student at UNO.  Student leaders will facilitate this event for other students.  The topics of race, sexual orientation and religion will be part of the afternoon’s discussion.

“What UNO Do You Attend?” is Ford Foundation/UNO grant-sponsored activity. The Ford Foundation launched the national Difficult Dialogues project in 2005 by inviting proposals from all accredited, degree granting, non-profit institutions with general undergraduate programs. UNO was one of just 27 institutions to receive funding.

Students interested in attending should call 554.2711 or e-mail btreadway@unomaha.edu to register no later than Friday, March 28th!  Registration capacity is 200 maximum for this event.
